![]() ![]() Blatant elitism flaunted around by some. Culture of rewarding the loudest in the room (even if they don’t actually do anything). Senior Management takes great pleasure to publicly humiliate / belittle staff in the office, on emails or on Slack public channels. Toxic Management - I’ve suffered years of bullying and micro-management at the hands of management. I don't get it and I wasn't willing to hang around to find out what happens next. but we're also hearing whispers of pay cuts, redundancies, and we've had a hiring freeze forever whilst my colleagues in engineering are overworked. It seems the CEO is desperate to save the company and we're hearing whispers of acquisitions, then nothing, then funding, then nothing. ![]() Employees seem to be kept in the dark about what's going on but to me, it's clear: we have no money. We've had a very cool new board member mysteriously removed with no communication to the team. In the last few months our new and brilliant COO, GC and Head of HR have all told us they're leaving. It was true! The CM I experienced was vastly better than what my colleagues told me it used to be and over the last 2 years we had a COO, GC and Head of HR join and things further improved we started to get organised, started to see internal comms happening, got increased benefits and people in the team really cared about the employees. I joined based on the fact that colleagues told me new people had just been hired and massive improvements had been made. Pre-joining, I checked Citymapper's Glassdoor reviews and they were terrible. ![]()
